Set menus in a booking flow
Offer fixed-price bundles inside a booking flow's package step so guests can pick a set menu when they book.
A package step in a booking flow can offer set menus — a fixed-price bundle the guest can open and view inside the flow.
Turn set menus on
A package is something the guest chooses, so it lives in Booking preferences — the first part of your flow, not the details page at the end. Add a Package widget to a preferences page (or select one you already have on the canvas) and its settings open on the right. Tick the bundles you want to offer: ticking a bundle makes it bookable and it appears as a selectable set menu in the flow. Then click Save at the top of the page to keep the step's choices.
Note
Package is offered on the pages that come before Your details. If you don't see it in the picker, you're adding to a page after Your details — pick an earlier page and add it there.
Set menus reuse your existing Menus → Bundles, so a price or dish change there flows straight through.
What the guest sees
Each set menu is a row the guest taps. The name and price sit on the same line, with the price on the right, and the dishes included (by name, with quantities) run underneath across the full width of the row — for example "Tasting menu" and "£45.00", then "Scallops, 2× Sirloin steak". The row they choose fills with a tint of your brand colour and its name goes bold, so the choice is obvious without reading it back. Their choice is saved against the booking.
Note
This is selection only — guests view and pick a set menu, but no payment is taken at booking time. See Deposits and prepayments for the full picture on why. Guests only ever see the set-menu price and the dish names — never your internal item costs.
In the builder, the package step's rows are drawn on your branding's surface along with the rest of the canvas, so the step sits in your colours while you are arranging it. The rows themselves are not filled with your brand colour — the builder does not pretend a set menu is already chosen when it isn't.
If those colours aren't right, you can change them from the Branding panel in the same settings column on the right, without leaving the builder.
What's next
- Booking flows — where the builder's colours come from, and how to change them without leaving the builder.
- Booking flows — the step itself lives inside a flow.
- Deposits and prepayments — why no charge is taken.
- Booking flows — the step list is grouped by the page your guest actually sees, so you can tell where the set-menu step lands in their journey.
- Booking flows — if you're selling a set menu, you may also want guests to accept your cancellation policy before they can book.
