Your booking page

Set your public web address, the hours you take bookings, and switch online bookings on.

Your booking page is the public web page customers use to book a table. Open Booking settings → Your booking page to set its web address and switch it on. The booking rules themselves live on each booking setup.

A status badge at the top tells you whether the page is Live or Not live.

Go live

Three things make your page live, and all three are on this one screen:

  1. 1

    Claim your web address

In the Public booking page card, choose your address. For example, your-venue makes your booking page your-venue.tillable.app/book. It must be 3 to 48 characters, lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, and start and end with a letter or digit.

One address serves the whole venue. Your menu, your ordering links and your loyalty page all sit on it, so if you have already claimed one for any of those, this step is done and you will see it here.

  2. 2

Set the hours you take bookings

In When guests can book, add the times you want to sell. Guests are only offered slots inside those hours.

  3. 3

    Switch online bookings on

Tick Accepting online bookings. The toggle only works once you have an address. Your page is now live at it.

Once you have claimed your address, the screen shows your full booking page address, with View your page and Copy link buttons. You never type a separate name for your booking page. It uses the address you claimed, and is set up for you the first time you switch bookings on.

When guests can book

The When guests can book card is your weekly opening hours, editable on this page. Pick a From and To time, name it if you like (Lunch, Dinner), choose the days it applies to, and press Add hours. Every day of the week is listed underneath so you can see at a glance which days are open and which say — closed —. A day with no hours takes no bookings.

To take a time back off your page, press the bin on that window.

Note

These are the same opening hours you see under My business → Opening hours, not a separate copy — and they are shared with click and collect. Changing Tuesday here changes it everywhere. For dated exceptions like Christmas, use Special dates and holidays on that screen.

If you run more than one site, a row of site names appears at the top of the card, and the hours below belong to whichever one is selected.

Note

Some slugs are reserved (like book, login or settings) and can't be used. If a slug is taken or reserved, you'll be told to try another.

Branding

Your booking page uses one set of branding shared across your customer-facing surfaces. Branding (logo, cover image and colours) is set under My business → Branding and applies to QR ordering, online bookings and click and collect together.

Take a test booking

Once your address is set and bookings are switched on, Take a test booking opens your real page in a new tab. Book on it the way a guest would.

It is a genuine booking, not a simulation — it goes through the same page and the same availability your guests use, so it proves your address, your hours, your tables and your times all work together. It lands in your diary, where you can cancel it like any other booking. Nothing is charged.

Until your address is set and bookings are on, the card says which of the two is still missing rather than showing a button that would lead nowhere.

Get told when a booking comes in

Bookings land in your diary — but if nobody is looking at the diary, nobody at the venue knows they are coming. The Get told when a booking comes in card at the bottom of this page turns that into a message.

Press Set it up to add an email address, a mobile number, or both. You will hear about bookings guests make online and about cancellations, so you know a table is free again. Bookings your own team types into the diary or takes on the till never send an alert.

The card shows what is happening now, so you can see at a glance whether anyone is being told and who.

Note

Text messages are not sending yet. You can save a mobile number today and it will be used the moment they start, but until then add an email address as well — see Get told when a booking comes in.

Coming here from the bookings checklist

If you opened this page from Get started with bookings, a bar sits across the top with a black button back to that checklist. Press it whenever you like — if you have unsaved changes on the page it saves them first and then takes you back, so you are never asked whether to throw your work away. Opening this page any other way leaves it exactly as it is, with no bar.

This page is the last of the four steps, and that is deliberate: your floor plan, your opening hours and your booking setup are all settings that feed it.

Two things change while you are walking the checklist:

  • Opening hours is not listed under "Set elsewhere". You set them a step earlier, and a second door to the same screen would take you out of the flow. It comes back the moment you open this page normally.
  • Branding gets a way home. Open it from here during setup and it grows a Back to your booking page button, so you land back here rather than in My business.

Your booking flow

The Booking flow card is the steps a guest walks: date, party size, time, then Your details. Until you build your own you are on the standard flow, which is ready to take bookings straight away — you do not have to touch it.

Contact details, terms and card details are not separate steps. They all sit on Your details, which every flow needs because it is the page that collects the booking.

Building a flow is a Bookings Pro feature. Assigning one to a particular setup still happens on that setup, under Booking settings → Booking setups — one flow can power as many setups as you like.

While you are walking the get-started checklist, Build a flow opens the starting-point picker on this page and drops you straight into the builder — you do not pass through the list of flows you have not made yet. The builder then carries a Back to your booking page button so you can come straight back. Outside the checklist the same button takes you to Booking flows, which is where you want to be once you have some.
