Two tickets per order (printer stations)

Print a kitchen chit and a pass chit for the same order, each with its own printer and layout.

A single printer station can print up to two tickets per order. Each ticket is independent: its own printer, its own layout. The common use is a kitchen chit (what to cook) plus a pass chit (a checklist for the person plating up).

Turn it on

On the station's page:

  1. Set Output to Printer if it isn't already.
  2. Set Tickets per order to 2.
  3. For each ticket, choose a printer and a Printed ticket layout.
  4. Click Save in the top bar.

Both must be set for that ticket to print. If only one of the two tickets is fully configured, only that one fires.

Tip

A common pattern is the kitchen chit on the kitchen printer with a compact, large-print layout, and the pass chit on the pass printer with a checklist layout. Design each in the Ticket editor.
