Void or resend a gift card
Cancel a card so it can never be redeemed, or resend the email to the original customer address.
Both actions live on a card's detail page. Open Promotions → Gift cards and click the card you want to act on.
Resend the email
If the card has a customer email on file, a Resend email section appears on the detail page. Click Resend to send the card to that address again with the same code and QR. Useful when the original email got buried or filtered as spam.
The resend shows up as a new entry in the card's history.
Note
You can't change the email address here — it's the address on file. If the customer has a new address, issue a fresh card manually and void the old one.
Void a card
If the card is still active or reserved, a Void this card section appears. Voiding marks the card so it can never be redeemed again — use it for refund or replacement cases.
Heads up
Voiding can't be undone. The card can never be redeemed once it's voided.
You can also void one or more cards from the list view: select them and use the Void button in the bar at the bottom. Only active and reserved cards can be voided; used, expired and already-voided cards can't.
