Request and enable click and collect

How to get click and collect switched on for your account when it isn't in the sidebar yet, and how to confirm it's live.

Click and collect is an add-on feature that has to be switched on for your account before you can use it. This is the very first gate — if Click and collect isn't in your sidebar, you can't reach the settings yet.

How to tell whether you have it

Look at the left sidebar. If you see Click and collect, it's enabled — go straight to Set up click and collect.

If it's not there, the feature isn't on for your account. There's no self-serve switch to turn it on yourself.

How to get it switched on

Ask your account manager (or contact Tillable support) to enable click and collect for your account. It's a per-account setting the Tillable team turns on; there's no plan upgrade you action in the portal and nothing to install on your devices.

When you ask, it helps to mention:

  • That you want click and collect / online collection ordering enabled.
  • Which site(s) it's for, if you run more than one.

Confirm it's on

Once it's enabled:

  1. Reload the portal. Click and collect appears in the sidebar.
  2. Open it — you'll land on the order list (empty until your first order) with a Settings link.
  3. Follow Set up click and collect to choose your web address, opening hours and pickup slots.

Note

Having the feature on isn't the same as being live to customers. After it's enabled you still need to set a web address and turn on Accepting online orders before your public page works. And for orders to reach the till, the till's mode needs the Takeaway capability — see Modes.
