I don't see a section I expected
Why an expected sidebar section might not be there — and how to get it enabled.
Some sidebar groups and pages appear only when the matching feature is switched on for your account. Optional features include Till, Tables (table service), Bookings, Gift cards, KDS, Inventory, CRM, Channels (including your Online Shop), Click & Collect, Leave at table, Staff and Promotions. The Marketplace is there for every venue except donation-only accounts; what it lists depends on your plan (a hotel property system such as Rezcontrol appears only when it is switched on). If a feature isn't on your plan, its sidebar entry simply isn't there.
Bookings is one section with two groups inside it. Click Bookings and you'll see:
- Bookings — the screens you use during service: the diary, the planner, the table plan, the waitlist, pre-order menus, guest engagement and reviews. This group is open already.
- Booking settings — everything you set up beforehand: your setups, payments, table groups, flows, messages, automations, your booking page and location links. Click it to open it.
If you were looking for Booking settings on its own in the main list, it isn't there — it's one click inside Bookings.
Only one of the two groups is open at a time: opening one closes the other. So if the diary rows vanish while you're setting something up, they aren't gone — click Bookings to open that group again.
Two Store-settings pages work the same way: Unintegrated mode (take card payments on the card machine instead of through the till) appears only when that's enabled for your account — see Take card payments on the card machine — and Screen saver only when screen saver is enabled.
Void reasons, also under Store settings, appears only when voids with reasons are switched on for your venue.
Leave at table — a card machine left on the table for guests to order and pay on themselves — is optional as well, and it is switched on per venue rather than per plan, because the venue has to accept how it works first. See Leave at table.
Inside Items, two rows are optional too: Offers (meal deals) and Sizes (drink sizes — pint/half, wine measures) each appear only when enabled for your account.
Channels and Online Shop are not in the scrolling list at all — they sit pinned at the bottom of the sidebar, so the main list scrolls behind them. If you have been scrolling the list looking for your shop, that is why you cannot find it. Click Online Shop to drill in; inside are Website (Edit site and Domain), Responses and Settings. Responses is where contact-form answers from your published shop arrive. It can also contain historical newsletter records, but new newsletter subscriptions are not live yet. Responses appears with the rest of Online Shop, so if the whole section is missing, so is that.
Automatic reports, Report layouts and Till printing used to be tiles on the Reports page. They now sit under Reports → Report settings, the row just above Transactions. Their addresses have not changed, so old links and bookmarks still work. See Reports overview.
The full list of sales is always under Reports → Transactions. Without Table Service there is also a Transactions entry at the top of the sidebar; with it switched on, that entry gives way to Tables Served (inside Table Management), which shows the latest bill and today's tables. See the sales log.
Note
Work through these when a section is missing:
- Search for it using the sidebar search — to confirm it isn't just tucked inside a group. See Find pages with sidebar search.
- It may not be enabled on your plan. Optional features (Till, Tables, Bookings, Gift cards, KDS, Inventory, CRM, Channels and Online Shop, Click & Collect, Leave at table, Staff, Promotions) only show when switched on for your account.
- Contact your account manager to request a feature be enabled.
A missing optional section is normal, not a bug — it just isn't on your plan yet.
