Restore a deleted or archived product
Bring back a product you archived, and what happens if it was deleted instead — deleting cannot be undone, so recreate it.
Whether you can bring a product back depends on how it was removed:
- Archived products are hidden, not gone. You can restore them in a couple of clicks, with their price, options and menus as they were.
- Deleted products are removed for good. There is no bin and no undo, so the only way back is to create the product again.
Your order history is safe either way: past sales keep the product's name and price.
Restore an archived product

Show archived products
Go to Items → Product Library, open the filters and set Status to Archived.

Restore it
Open the product and press Restore at the top of the page. To restore several at once, tick them in the list and press Restore.
Once restored it appears on its menus again the next time your tills refresh.
If you cannot find it in Archived
Then it was deleted. Create it again with New product, and put it back on its menus and kitchen station. See Create a product.
Note
Next time you want to hide a product, Archive it instead of deleting it. Archiving keeps everything so you can bring it back, for example a seasonal special.
