Which menu customers see when they scan
The two cases — the code is tied to a menu, or it isn't and the first menu in your list is served.
A scanned code serves a menu, but which one?
The two cases
- If the table's code is tied to a specific menu, customers see that menu.
- If it isn't tied to one, they see your default menu — which is the first menu in your Items → Menus list. There's no separate "mark as default" switch; the menu at the top of that list is what's served.
Change which menu is served by default
Reorder your menus under Items → Menus so the one you want sits first.
Heads up
If you have no menu at all, anyone who scans sees "Ordering isn't available". Create a menu under Items first.
