Delete a location

When and how to delete a non-default location — and why the default can't be deleted.

You can't delete your default location. For any other site, scroll to the Delete this location section at the bottom of its detail form and click Delete location, then confirm.

Anything assigned to it keeps its data but loses the location. This can't be undone.

Heads up

Devices and reports attached to the site keep their data but lose the location link. Reassign your devices to another site if you still trade there.

If the location had its own business day start (for a venue that traded past midnight), its past sales keep being reported under that business day after it's deleted. Your history doesn't shift.
