Put your logo on wallet cards
Where your logo goes on the Apple Wallet loyalty card, how the band behind the points gets its colour, and the "Add it to the card" step.
When a member adds your loyalty card to Apple Wallet, the card carries your logo in the top corner, next to your venue name. Your logo is prepared for the card automatically when you save a new or changed logo, at every size Apple needs.
The band across the middle of the Apple card is not your logo or a picture you upload. It is made from your primary colour, and the member's points sit on it in white. If your primary colour is very light, such as white or cream, the band is a darker shade of the same colour, so the points stay readable. The rest of the card stays in your own colour.
The Wallet cards preview at the bottom of the branding editor shows both the Apple and the Google card. The colours in that preview are the ones a member gets, including the band and a sample points number on it. The arrangement of the text and the band's texture are a guide, because Apple and Google draw the card themselves.
Cards members already have pick up a new look by themselves when you save it. To send every Apple card your current look straight away without changing anything, press Refresh members' cards under that preview. It tells you how many phones it reached.
If your logo was added before this was supported, the branding editor shows a Not on your wallet cards yet notice under the logo, with an Add it to the card button. Click it to prepare the artwork. You'll see the status change to Shows on wallet cards, with a short confirmation underneath.
Note
Both notices live inside the Logo section of the branding editor, which starts closed — open it to see whether your logo is ready for wallet cards and for printed receipts. The two are prepared separately, so one can be ready while the other isn't.
Tip
Your logo sits on your primary colour in the top corner of the card, so check the preview if your logo has a pale or white background — it will show as a block against your brand colour rather than blending in. A logo with a transparent background looks best.
Note
Apple and Google treat a missing logo differently. Without a logo, the Apple card still works: members can add it, and it carries your name and your colours. Google will not issue a card at all until you upload one.
