Starter widgets

Ready-made widgets for every kind of data — open one, change what you like, and save it as your own.

Starter widgets are ready-made widgets we built, so you don't have to start from a blank chart. This is for venues whose sidebar shows Reporting — see Reporting — dashboards and widgets.

Where to find them

  • Reporting → Widgets → New widget, under Or start from one of ours. The Popular row shows the most useful few; See all starters lists every one, grouped by kind of data.
  • On a dashboard, press Customize, then Add widgets, then the Templates tab to put one straight onto the page.

Opening a starter from New widget opens it in the builder. Change anything you like — the dates, a filter, the chart — and press Save to keep it as your own widget. The starter itself never changes.

You only see starters for the kinds of data your venue uses: no Bookings, no Bookings starters.

Starters marked not available

Paid to your bank and the Cash drawer starters stay in the list for every venue. If your venue isn't set up for them — not paid out through Tillable Payments, or not doing cash-ups or using the cash drawer — they are greyed out and read, for example, Paid to your bank · Not available for your venue. They never appear in the Popular row. See What each kind of data counts.

Making your own

When a starter is nearly right, open it, change it and save it: that is the quickest way to a widget of your own. See Build a widget.
