Mode Quick Actions

The shortcut popup that opens when staff tap an occupied table — choose which tiles show.

If Quick Actions is enabled on your account, each mode gets a Quick Actions section in its editor. Quick Actions is the shortcut popup that opens when staff tap an occupied table or tab — Checkout plus a few common actions — instead of dropping straight into the bill.

    Turn the popup on or off for this mode

    The Show the Quick Actions popup switch controls whether the popup shows for devices running this mode. Turn it off and tapping an occupied table goes straight to the bill, with no popup.

    Choose which tiles to show

    With the popup on, tick the tiles you want: Add items, Mains away, Print bill, Discount, Void item, Move table and Customer. Add items opens the menu so staff can order more onto the tab — it works on both the till and the terminal, and is on by default. Checkout is always shown and can't be turned off — it's the route into the bill.

Note

Ticking a tile only makes it available — it doesn't force it on. A tile still stays hidden when this mode turns off the feature behind it (for example, the Discount tile won't show if Discounts are off for the mode). These switches narrow what staff see; they can't add a tile the mode doesn't support. If you don't see the Quick Actions section at all, the feature isn't enabled on your account.
