Remove a device
The difference between unpairing a device and removing it from your fleet.
In a device's settings panel there are two ways to remove it:
- Unpair device — disconnects it. It stops working immediately, but stays in your list so you can reconnect it later by pairing again.
- Remove from fleet — permanently removes it from your account. An active terminal is signed out the next time it syncs.
You can also select several devices in the list with their checkboxes and remove them together.
Heads up
Unpairing or removing a device stops it taking payments immediately. Only do it when you're sure you want that device offline.
