Advertising screens — set up what to show
Add a webpage to your PAC library, mark a default, and pick what to host as the idle screen.
An advertising screen is a named webpage in your PAC library. Each screen points at a URL — the terminal opens it fullscreen when it's meant to be showing. One screen can be the default, which shows whenever no campaign is scheduled.
Add an advertising screen
- 1
Add a screen
In the Advertising screens section, add a screen, give it a name, and paste the web address (URL) it should show.
- 2
Set a default (optional)
Mark one screen as the default. It shows whenever no campaign is scheduled to run.
- 3
Turn the feature on
Use the master switch so terminals actually show the screen while idle.
Tip
The screen is just a web page you host — you give PAC a URL and the terminal opens it fullscreen. Anything that opens in a browser works.
What to show, and where to host it
A few concrete ideas, easiest first:
- A promo poster image — upload a JPG/PNG to any image host and paste the image's direct URL (a Canva or Google Drive public image link, for example).
- A hosted menu page — your online menu, a PDF link, or a simple one-page site.
- A "tap to pay" or brand page — a single hosted page with your logo.
No website of your own? A free design tool (Canva, for instance) can publish a poster as a public link you can paste straight in. The only requirement is that the URL opens in a normal browser without a login.
