Pay by card
Take the whole amount on the card reader — the three-step tap flow.
Pay with Card takes the whole order amount on the card reader. It's the default pay step when no split or part payment is needed.
- 1
Tap Pay with Card
The card reader prompts the customer to tap, insert or swipe.
- 2
Customer pays
The customer completes the payment on the reader as usual.
- 3
Confirmation
On success the terminal shows the payment was approved and the order closes. On a table tab, the tab closes and becomes one bill in Transactions.
If the card is declined, see If a card payment is declined.
Checking the lines first
Drinks sold in sizes name the size on the line — Madrí (½ pint) — so a quick read down the order confirms a half was rung as a half before you take the money. See Drink sizes. Each line also shows the options picked (like Oat milk · Extra shot) and any item note under the name, and a note the guest left on the whole order sits in a yellow Order note banner at the top of the bill.
