PAC Campaigns

Show a webpage on a terminal while it waits to take a payment — the overview and the two pieces.

Where to find it (changed 2026-08-21). This is now called Terminal Campaigns and lives under Customers → Promotions. It used to sit under Till as "PAC Campaigns". Nothing about how it works changed, and any link or bookmark you already have still works.

When a terminal is sitting idle waiting to take a payment, it can show a fullscreen webpage instead of a blank screen — an advert, a menu, or a branded "tap to pay" prompt. PAC Campaigns is where you set that up.

Note

This is part of the Till module and only appears when Till is switched on for your account. If you don't see it, ask your account manager.

From the sidebar, click Customers, then Promotions, then Terminal Campaigns.

The two pieces

  • Advertising screens — a library of named webpages, each pointing at a URL. One screen can be marked the default, which shows whenever no campaign is running.
  • Campaigns — schedules that swap in a different screen on chosen days and times.

There's also a master switch at the top of the page. The terminal only shows these screens while waiting for a payment when the switch is on.

Scope — which devices show a campaign

Campaigns and screens are merchant-wide. They apply to all your terminals that are waiting to take a payment — there is no per-device or per-location assignment. Every idle terminal follows the same schedule and master switch.

Good to know

  • Turning the master switch off stops all idle screens at once without deleting your screens or campaigns.
  • Removing a screen that a campaign still points at will show the campaign as pointing at a removed screen — repoint or remove the campaign.
